Character limitations

  • Button text can contain up to 25 characters
  • Rich card title text can contain up to 200 characters
  • Rich card subtitle (description) text can contain up to 2000 characters

Error conditions

  • Agent or bot will receive an error when trying to send RCS Structured Content elements with the following character limitations:
    • If button text exceeds 25 characters
    • If rich card title text exceeds 200 characters
    • If rich card subtitle (description) text exceeds 2000 characters
    • If more than 11 quick replies are sent
    • If more than 4 buttons/suggestions are added to a rich card
    • If a carousel contains less than 2 cards or more than 10 cards
