Release date: Phased rollout concluding Sep 19, 2025

Overview

This release delivers a crucial step towards performance improvement for the Messaging Window by switching all taglets to use FETCH requests instead of JSONP. This change is part of our ongoing performance initiative and is a prerequisite for our migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Rationale: Migration to GCP requires new domains and protocols.

Client Action Required

If your implementation uses a Content Security Policy (CSP): Allow FETCH requests in your CSP. Add new LivePerson domains to your CSP allowlist. Important: If your CSP blocks these requirements, the messaging flow will fail after deployment. A temporary opt-out is available for clients needing more time to update their policies.

Accessibility Improvements

The entire transcript area is now focusable, allowing users to scroll using the keyboard.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Fixed: Wrong consumer IdP selected intermittently with multiple IdPs. Fixed: Vulnerable DOMpurify version. Fixed: Parsing of Signaled Events incoming metadata. Fixed: PCS bot reappearing after conversation closed.
